Welcome to the website of Our Lady of Peace Parish at Most Precious Blood and Our Lady of Grace Churches! We are a Roman Catholic Parish located in the city of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This parish is part of the Diocese of Scranton and is led by the Rev. Anthony J. Generose, Pastor.

mission of our parish, a community of faith for
over a century, is dedicated to worship and prayer. We are committed to radiate
the life and love of God to each other. We extend our hands to those persons who
are most in need.
The consolidation of Most Precious Blood and Queen of Heaven Parishes occurred on July 1, 2025.

New Mass Schedule for Holy Days of Obligation: Please be advised of the revised Mass schedule at Our Lady of Peace Parish at the Churches of Most Precious Blood and Our Lady of Grace. The schedule is as follows: 6pm at MPB church on the eve of the Holy Day (Vigil Mass) and 12:05 pm at OLG church on the Holy Day. The next Holy Day of Obligation is December 8, 2025, the Immaculate Conception.
MPB Christmas Sharing Tree. Because Christ is an unconditional gift to us, we share with others. Help us show the Christmas spirit of charity, love and caring to those in need by taking part in the MPB Christmas Sharing Tree. The Sharing Tree will provide gifts for children newborn to age 13, who will not receive any Christmas gifts, or at least very few. If you are a family in need and would like to receive a gift/gifts, please contact Catholic Social Services of Hazleton at (570) 455-1521. Your donations of clothing or gifts – one per child would be greatly appreciated. The Sharing Trees will go up in the church Nov. 12th. Please take a tag when they are made available. Please return your donations to the rectory. Thank you.
Madonna Del Monte Sodality Announces the Annual Christmas Dinner. Mark your calendars!
The Sodality Christmas Dinner has been planned for Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Top of the 80’s, Hazleton. This lovely event is open to all MPB parishioners and friends. A family style dinner and holiday festivities will be featured. Pre-paid $35.00 reservations should be submitted by Nov. 23, 2025. To reserve your spot online, please use this link. MPB Christmas Cookie Sale. Orders open Nov. 10 and will close Dec. 8. Italian crystals @ $14/box for an 11oz. box. Viscotti @ $10/doz. Pizzelles @ $10/doz. (vanilla, chocolate or anise) Cookie trays @ $40 (4 ½ doz. on decorated trays with an ornament) All items must be pre-ordered by Dec. 8! Fill out this form to order online. Christmas Flower Memorials
Remember your loved one this Christmas with a beautiful Christmas poinsettia adorning the church nave. Names will be mentioned in the Christmas bulletin. Only a minimum number of flowers will be ordered. If you would like your loved ones remembered, please use this link or the form from this weeks bulletin. Closing date for memorials is Monday, December 15. Your donation of $25 will help defray the costs of the lovely poinsettias decorating the church this Christmas season.
