Welcome to the website of Our Lady of Peace Parish at Most Precious Blood and Our Lady of Grace Churches! We are a Roman Catholic Parish located in the city of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This parish is part of the Diocese of Scranton and is led by the Rev. Anthony J. Generose, Pastor.

The mission of our parish, a community of faith for
over a century, is dedicated to worship and prayer. We are committed to radiate
the life and love of God to each other. We extend our hands to those persons who
are most in need.

The consolidation of Most Precious Blood and Queen of Heaven Parishes occurred on July 1, 2025.

New Mass Schedule for Holy Days of Obligation: Please be advised of the revised Mass schedule at Our Lady of Peace Parish at the Churches of Most Precious Blood and Our Lady of Grace. The schedule is as follows: 6pm at MPB church on the eve of the Holy Day (Vigil Mass) and 12:05 pm at OLG church on the Holy Day. The next Holy Day of Obligation is December 8, 2025, the Immaculate Conception.

  • The Sacrament of Marriage

    In order to properly prepare for marriage, it is expected that the couple contact the pastor before making other arrangements for the wedding. This initial contact should be at least one year prior to the desired date of marriage.

  • The Sacrament of Baptism

    The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated by appointment on Sundays immediately following the 10:30 am Mass at Most Precious Blood Church and 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church. Expectant parents must be registered, active members of Most Precious Blood Church for at least six months. Please call the parish office for details at (570) 454-8714.
